WordLens

Privacy policy

WordLens uses account and learning information to provide vocabulary practice and save your progress. This policy describes the current version of the app.

Information we use

Services and storage

Account data is sent over HTTPS to our API and stored in its database. Hosting and email providers process information needed to run the service and deliver password reset messages. Images may load directly from third-party image providers, which receive network information such as your IP address. API infrastructure may retain access and error logs.

The current app does not include advertising SDKs or sell personal information. Sound and vibration can be disabled in Settings.

Retention and deletion

Account and learning records remain while your account exists. Delete your account from Settings or the account deletion page. This removes the account, learning history, saved words and account-linked analytics from the live database. Device data is cleared when deleting through the app. Deleted records may remain temporarily in restricted backups until those backups expire; the release backup policy is a maximum of 30 days. On shared devices, also remove the app to clear local copies.
